Journey will starts either from Negombo town or from International Airport – Colombo. On the way to Sigiriya you will have an opportunity to visit disabled elephants and elephant babies who lost their parents in pinnawala elephant orphanage. Then after you will start your journey to the day-end lodging place in Sigiriya village. During the afternoon you can climb the sigiriya lion rock ( Built by the King Kashyapa - 477 – 495 BD) and rest your 1st night at Sigiriya hotel.

After the breakfast, you are guided for a visit in the 1st ancient Sri Lankan Kingdom - “Anuradhapura” . it is belonging to the 08th and 10th century AD. You can visit many ancient Buddhist holy places such as sacred “Sri Maha Bodhi “ tree in mahamewnawa gardens, “Ruwan weli sthupa” built by king Dutugamunu in c.140 B.C. , “Cheathawanarama sthupa” built during the reign of king Gotabhaya (253-266 AC) , “Lankaramaya Sthupa” built by king Walagamba in 1st century BC , “Thuparamaya” sthupa - the 1st sthupa in Sri lanka built by king Deewanam piya thissa ( 247 - 207 BC) , Carved granite “Samadhi buddha Statue” in Mahamewnawa gardens, “Abhayagiriya Sthupa” built by king walagamba in 1st century BC, etc. Then you will guided to “Mihinthalaya” religious site (247 BC). at the end of the day you will be back to the same hotel you spent in the 1st date.

After the breakfast taken from the hotel, you will start your journey to visit ancient Pollonnaruwa City (10th Cen - 12th Cen AD). Pollonaruwa is the second kingdom of Sri Lanka and you may see some Hindu fanes built very close to Buddhist temples here. This has happen due to the result of royal marriages done in between Sri Lankan Prince and Indian Princesses. As the main ancient places you can visit “Gal Viharaya”, “ Shiwa Dewaalaya”, “Royal palace” , “ Atadageya” and “Hatadaageya” - temples of sacred tooth relic , “Stone book” , “Lankathilaka” image house, lotus pond, Kumara pond , Council Chaimber etc.

Then after you will be guided for a wild safari in Minneriya National park.( Minneriya pasrk was established in year 1997 on 8900 acres in the minneriya forest. At the end of the 3rd day, you will be back to the same hotel to spent the night.

after the breakfast you will visit the “Dambulla cave temple -(1st century AD / 77-59 BC) According to the legends these caves have been donated to monks as a dwelling place by king Saddhathissa and king walagamba has turned it as a “Vihara” after he became the king for the second time. After the visit of Dambulla religious site you will be headed to city “Kandy” to visit tooth relic temple which Buddhist people worship and protect as their religious heart.

The Tooth relic was smuggled from kingdom “kalinga” (present “orissa” in India)and bought here by Princess Hemamala and his husband prince dantha by following her father’s ( King Guhasiva) instructions. Kandy is supposed to be the second capital apart from Colombo. Kandy city has been declared by “UNESCO” as a living world heritage site.

The last capital of Sinhalese kings, kandy is remarkable for the natural beauty of it’s setting in a peaceful natural surrounding with an artificial lake in the midst of ancient royal palace complex.
After the visit you will stay over the night in kandy.

During the morning, you will be guided to the Royal botanical garden at “Peradeniya”. This garden was a pleasure gardens for the former kandiyan Kings. When Sri Lanka Became a colony of the British, then the gardens was developed as an agricultural research center.

After the visit you can have a chance to visit some ancient temples such as “Gadaladeniya” , “Lankathilaka” and “Embekka”. You can enjoy the evening with a kandy traditional dancing show and night will spent in the same hotel you spent in day 4.
